correcting concealer?

Does anyone know of a more affordable color correcting concealer than Bobbi Brown? i have been using it but its about to finish and its quite expensive. its a peach colored corrector applied under eyes before concealer. any thing else that can be used instead?

I’ve found that MAC’s Studio Finish Skin Corrector is quite nice.

Theres a brand of makeup at Target...its called Pixi. They have a brightening peach corrector thats $12...dupe for the Bobbi Brown peach correctors. The Bobbi Brown one js more creamy/heavy...this one is more gel-like and light. I've got the Bobbi Brown and although i love it...im gonna get something less expensive. Oh and u get way more product with the Pixi one.

I'm not really certain. I use it in Light Peach and it does the trick. A friend of mine combines Light Peach and Pure Orange for a slightly darker peach (but not orange) shade, so that may work.

thanks. i have tried NYX concealer in a jar in orange but its not as creamy and creases. does the pixi one crease or goes smooth?

For myself and fromnthe reviews i've read it doesn't crease cos the consistency is very good.

kryolan tv paint sticks are very very pigmented u wont need any corrector ..or if u still do use orange tv paint stick it does the trick

bella88, does the Bobbi Brown one crease for you? It creases for me all day long, no matter how many times I pat it down.

I use the MAC one too in 'Pure orange' under the eyes. A little goes a long way.

I wanted the TV paint stick in 'mandarin' but the store was sold out of it. It's still on my 'to-buy' list.

really? no it doesn't crease at all for me, i love it. its just super expensive, so im looking for alternative. you need to apply very little bit so it doesn't crease. also make sure you moisturize your skin before (like 30-40mins before applying it)

i have one tv paint stick foundation that i bought from ebay a year ago. its too thick though, i dont think it would be suitable under eyes as it might crease?
i will try the mac one though, looks pretty good.

Bella, I also wanted to mention that the MAC corrector looks darker in the pot than it does on and a small amount goes a long way. I've also seen "Pure Orange" at the shop and my friend has it as well, and it isn't as dark orange as it looks.

bella88 tv paint stick is super thick for sure...u need to silute it with iluminator u can use mac strobe or bodyshop iluminator just out a tiny dot on stick n dilute with finger until u get desired/creamy consistency and pat on the surface.. it works very well

Maybelline color tattoo in orange will also do the trick!

Ooh I wanna try the pixi. I use eve pearl and a little goes a long way. I usually order it on hautelook

I have both the BB and Laura Mercier correctors. The latter is creamier.

I watched a video on how to create your own corrector. You can take your concealer or foundation and mix it with a bit of lipstick that is pinky/peachy color to create a corrector color that will cancel out your darker areas.

I personally swear by the MAC studio finish concealer.

But there's a lot of other great ones you can try.. MAC also came out with a compact that has many shades ranging from peaches to pinks for colour correcting and concealing dark circles. I would really recommend that to save some money.

Also there's Maybelline fit me concealer, Makeup forever camouflage cream (it's another compact that carries different shades), Eve Pearl concealer ** (I've tried this and liked it, it's creamy and goes on well).

Has anybody ever tried MAC select cover up? I think that's the one I got a sample of from our Belk but i'm going to try samples of the ones rv and amber mentioned. Hopefully i'll get one that's my goto concealer.
