I went to ONE wedding. Boy had like 4 wedding ceremonies - caring versions of the nikkah because he married an American woman. I went to ONE because the girls family really insisted. I ended up becoming good friends with this girl so she really wanted me there which was awkward.
Anyway it was generally uncomfortable. So . Yeah. I never allowed myself to repeat that experience. I could care less if people talk. They're gonna talk anyway.
