Contrary to popular belief, usually a percentage of alcohol REMAINS AFTER cooking, percentage varying on degree of heat and method of cooking.
This was from an American study. If u google it u should find it. They have a table...
thats what i've read too, so if i were you, i would avoid it. sumo is right too. pasta sauces, even cakes (especially the ones that use fruit-- they also have gelatin).
:(
that proves my innocence .. I dont even know the correct spelling, let alone the taste
OR you are tasting it right now and having difficulty typing.....
^yes yes! ;)

Again with the “shareef” card… ![]()
Pareezay, as a rule of thumb, if you’re unsure, then just refrain.
Waisey, i do have an archive of info in my brain about alcohol and in what instances it is halal and haraam… i’ll come back when that information surfaces.
Re: corona/beer battered fish and shrimps..
shareef card was invented by me so I have the right to use it all the times ..

Re: corona/beer battered fish and shrimps..
hmm of all the recipes i have seen for fried fish/chicken, any type of soda has never come up...maybe ill give it a try? (the club soda/sprite i mean..not beer/bear :p)
Re: corona/beer battered fish and shrimps..
Even chocolates and cakes made abroad can have alcohol in them. I don't think anything alcohol infused would be halal so please refrain. You have loads of other choices, order those.
achcha achcha I know I spelled it wrong .. ziyada mazaaq uraanay kee zaroraat nahi ![]()

cakes with fruit toppings are almost always glazed in gelatin (you can look for bakeries that use pectin glaze instead). cakes like black forest have rum in the fruit for flavour. some bakeries use lard to mix with the flour. best thing to do is to find a halal bakery or at least a kosher one. best bet is to find one that is vegetarian friendly.
ottawa had a halal one but there isnt one where i am right now. soooooo sad… ![]()
the more i look around, my options seem to get lesser and lesser. its frustrating as hell but at least its better than consuming the non-halal stuff in ignorance. beware of things like shrimp dumplings too. they use lard 99% of the time for the dough.

The contents of Dublin Mudslide and it says there are two kinds of liqueur in it - Irish Cream and Chocolate.
Irish Cream Liqueur contains alcohol, and Dublin Mudslide does contain a trace amount. There are 0.2 grams of alcohol per 1/2 cup serving (or 0.19% per 102 gram serving).
All of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream ice cream and frozen yogurt contain trace amounts of alcohol from vanilla extract. To make the extract, vanilla beans are chopped up and added to alcohol to macerate (a similiar process to steeping but without heat), then the solid particles are strained out.
Dublin Mudslide contains less alcohol than Ben and Jerry’s plain Vanilla ice cream. The alcohol content of Vanilla is .337 grams per 1/2 cup serving.
