Its not that I don’t want to believe you, but there has to be something better than your opinion to make a valid arguement out of this point 
I have personally known many Indian Muslims and they made the choice to stay in India. Infact in many cases, part of the family moved to Pak and the rest chose to stay behind.
I would definitely want to discuss this further if you have valid data/facts to back it up, but in the absence of facts its tough to believe anything.
