The law of contract. In order for a contract to be valid the following requirements must be met.
a) There must be an offer and acceptance, which is in effect the agreement
b) There must be an intention to create legal relations
c) There is a requirement of written formalities in some cases
d) There must be consideration (unless the agreement is under seal)
e) The parties must have capacity to contract
f) There must be genuineness of content by the parties to the terms of the contract
g) The contract must not be contrary to public policy
