take a cigar chipper and put mother-in-law's little finger in it and chopoff the nail along with someflesh and tell her that if she even tries somthing suspicious then she is gonna get the beating of her life and that accidents are not uncomman these days aroundthe house. LEt her know ...violence is answer to all our problems... be as intimidating as you can... a acid burn on the tongue that will render the mother-in-law unable to do anything is a viable option too.

i completely agree regarding mutual responsibility of spouses towards their marriage and towards each other.
