So I’m going to get my nose pierced next week.. but I don’t know which side to get it done! And now my indian friend has told me she heard that indians get it done on the left whilst pakistanis on the right… But I’ve seen a few pakistani ladies on the left as well so I’m not sure if there’s any truth to that..!
So is there any significance about which side to go for? I’m not really that bothered, apart for the fact that I don’t want to end up offending anyone…

All the Pakistani women/girls I know have their piercing on the left.

I think left side is the right way... However I guess the right side does have something to do with pakistani's .I remember watching the movie Veer Zaara and both Rani and Preity (who were pakistani in the film) had nose piercings on the right side, I remember because all my friends and me pointed out how weird it looked....
It also depends on which side of your face you feel you look good in....I always like to part my hair to the right therefore my left side of the face stands out more, therefore I would pick my left side....also is there a left/right position that you like to stand in when taking pictures? If so, that is your favorite side therefore get it pierced on that side...however I still feel left is the best :)

left sides are more common but i have also seen right once on some girls.
i guess go with left. :)

i got my nose pierced on left side, but do care a lot for yr nose after piercing otherwise you will get a bump around it ...

How would you normally take care of it? I'm worried about getting a bump and going to work like that.

Left side.
Mine was an absolute disaster though, I got the dreaded bump and it would just not go after a few years even..
Eventually I just took it out and now sadly, I'm left with a bump on my nose :(
