Complexion of the 'Larka'

So i was thinking…

Does it matter?

Like if desi girls are looking for a prospective ‘dulha’… does the complexion of the guy matter at all or not?

Like lets say if girl is fair or something…would she go for dark wheatish/ or dark complexioned guy??

Put yourself in the situation and then reply plz..

Re: Complexion of the 'Larka'

To me it doesn't matter.. I'd still have to be attracted to the guy but I guess handsome features are most important to me than colour

Re: Complexion of the 'Larka'

I don't mind.

However, it's boobies for some. It's complexion for others. Please don't mind.

:D

Re: Complexion of the ‘Larka’

yes… i’ve noticed i prefer men more to the fairish side… :sid:
i’m not dudh chitti myself though… neither do i have a gora complex… just a preference
As in prospective dulha, it doesn’t matter that much as compared to the girl’s complexion :hmmm:
But I’ve noticed with many of my friends if the men have darker skin tone then theirs - then its all good

Re: Complexion of the 'Larka'

i really don't mind in terms of looks, as long as he's respectful of women, family and caring, those are the only requirements.
but actually the really really fair desi guys look so feminine to me, don't know why. that rugged manliness doesn't go well with the delicate, fair complexioned guy that's all....maybe it's just me that feels that way

Re: Complexion of the ‘Larka’

moobies for you? I’m sorry princessjojo but our marriage might not last :frowning:

Nomi in Pakistan, any marriage you go to you’ll see that the bride is dudh chitti and the groom is his natural colour which for a majority of Pakistani males is wheatish. Now I know the brides actual colour isn’t exactly that beneath her mask but generally the fairer sex IS the fairer sex. Also in our society, the girl usually doesn’t have a say in her partner’s complexion, while the male has to have a gori chitti bride.

Personally, I don’t have a preference in complexion, I don’t mind wheatish or sanwali, its the features that matter to me. Oh and boobies :hoonh:

Re: Complexion of the 'Larka'

LOL it didnt matter for me which complexing he had I dont think anyone go after complexion now a days but people do go after looks and looks have nothing to do with if u are dark or light.

I have light skin because of my afghani blood my dad parents are from afghanistan and mom is from pakistan and my husband to be is dark not black just brown like olive brown colour

Re: Complexion of the 'Larka'

To me nice features (eg dimples, high cheekbones) make a guy attractive, I was never that fussed about skin tone..

I wouldn't fancy a fair skinned guy over a dark one just because of his colour..

Re: Complexion of the ‘Larka’

oh you are talking about me :sweetif:

Re: Complexion of the 'Larka'

I dont care about complexion at all...There needs to be an attarction btw me and the guy-that will happen (or not) whether the guy is fair or dark.

Re: Complexion of the 'Larka'

In modern society one shouldn't base relationships on mere looks especially complexion. I think it would be absurd to suggest one race is better looking then another based on colour every race has its gems.

Re: Complexion of the ‘Larka’

i dont like goray chitay men.they dont look attractive.

P.S.NomiCA,aap aaj kal jis qisam kay threads start kar rehay hain…i believe you are going to get married.:khumar:

Re: Complexion of the 'Larka'

^ lol... same here, too goray chitay men look kinda gayish...oppps... sorry guys :D

Being from a chinese mother i have very fair complexion, but i am fancying this fairly called kala guy...hehe

Re: Complexion of the ‘Larka’

goray chitay men look cute and a man should never look CUTE.:chai:

Re: Complexion of the 'Larka'

Well I don't think it matters THAT much.

Complexion of the prospective 'dulha' is not a big deal. One has much important things to consider..

Re: Complexion of the 'Larka'

Agree with Blueangel, complexion of the 'dulha' is not as important as the other things.

Re: Complexion of the 'Larka'

No offense to any of the people here who said that fair colour does not matter.NomiCA , all I can say is that I would not trust the responses here too much. What you received here is a standard liberal response that the skin complexion does not count for anything. If that were the case, then every single bollywood actor, Pakistani movie stars, TV stars, models, politicans, elites, military leaders, business men liberals etc would have been of a wheatish complexion ,not as fair as they are now, as compared to the general population. Let us not fool anyone about our mentality as Pakistanis and Indians. Tell me the name of a single Pakistani/Indian actor who is of a darker complexion?.

Re: Complexion of the 'Larka'

I think you're confusing complexion with skin color...they're two different things...complexion refers to teh skin's general look and health, at least thats my understanding of it

so with that said, complexion falls under being phyiscally attractive, if I find the guy attractive thats all that matters...he can be dark, have dry skin, have pimples, or...whatever.

Re: Complexion of the 'Larka'

i like chittey and gorey

Re: Complexion of the 'Larka'

Ditto.
