Re: Complaint - jeans, pants, slacks
try “James Brand” jeans or “Paper denim and cloth” or “Acne” They look even better as they age. well acne makes more of skinnies.
Re: Complaint - jeans, pants, slacks
How can you discard jeans??
I have a pair thats now 5 years old and I still love it to death.
Coming in second is my Riders by Lee that is 4 years old.
The hem is all shredded into dhajiyaan but i refuse to throw it away.
The older the jeans, the more comfy it gets.
You guys do buy brand name jeans rite?
The trouble with jeans is if you buy cheap ones from stores like target/kmart and equivalent they are just Blah.
Invest in a good pair of jeans, spend around $100-200 and you will realize the difference straight away.
Although i still think $300 for a pair of jeans is ridiculous.
Re: Complaint - jeans, pants, slacks
^^ i agree the older the pair, the more comfy it is. I don't invest $100 or more but up to $50. I don't buy jeans every year and I don't buy more then one or two pairs either. I have seen that when I get used to one pair, it is hard for me to feel comfy in the another style. I think I am just way too selective when it comes to clothes and shoes.
Re: Complaint - jeans, pants, slacks
I personally have never liked Levis but their 7s are awesome.
M a huge fan of Lee.
Give me a Lee any day only cause they look more towards comfort.
I have a twelve year old pair of CK jeans that I still wear with Ts.
Its zipper gave away a few years back and i had to have it done again :(
Re: Complaint - jeans, pants, slacks
If you can afford them ($150-ish??) Joe's Jeans makes a style called "The Muse" that you might like. High wasted and quite flattering (also a very good brand).
Re: Complaint - jeans, pants, slacks
butt crack, thong showing, its all disgusting
Btw, that usually happens when ones hips/thighs are ALOT bigger than their waist..so if they get the size that fits their waist, its xtremely tight on the hips/thighs, n if they get something to fit the hips, they get the back pocket. Best thing to do (with any item of clothing if ure not one size all over) is to get something that fits the largest part of you and get it tailored, like get teh waistband taken in..Learned that froM Clinton and Kelley ![]()
Re: Complaint - jeans, pants, slacks
Awright, I found my solution !! :balley:
Re: Complaint - jeans, pants, slacks
I absolutely love the low waist jeans! And i swear by CKs. They last a long time and i am not talking abt the stretched ones.
Btw, i have two pairs but i love to wear mostly one of them. The other is a flared leg and it looks better with some tops as compared to the boot legged.
Re: Complaint - jeans, pants, slacks
LOL at the mom jeans! I'm sadly guilty of that offense!
Mo3 I know what you mean about the flabby skin. Maybe I was too old when I had my last... I lost the weight and the fat but now I have this fold of skin that just hangs there. I have seriously considered a tummy tuck, but I've had weird complications to anasthesia before, so I'd be in the 0.1% that dies on the operating table or something with my luck.
Re: Complaint - jeans, pants, slacks
Ms amana yes theres that worry but also ... have you SEEN tummy tucks?? OMG the horrible scar it leaves right across your belly...its actually almost worse than the drapery skin! When I win lotto, I wnat to go talk to a top surgeon and aske whether he can just kinda remove all the extra skin into my belly button, then there wouldnt be a scar. Lets see, a dollar and a dream you know? In the meantime, I just wanna find some nice slacks to hide those draperies lol!
