I am not taking any monumental responsibility or anything for it. I agree with you wholeheartedly that there are some people who genuinely care about how the forum is run and are concerned. My issue with it is how these issues are taken up. In my opinion, and yours might be different from mine, is that you can send tlk or ehsan bhai or muzna or kamal bhai or all of em a private message and trust me it works wonders. Singling out one mod for the whole section and not the other mod for that section is just wrong and completely unfair. You've been on the forums for a good while too and I think you would agree too that opening threads or blogs instead of just reporting or sending a pm to tlk or ehsan bhai is not the most efficient way to get things done either.
I am glad you agree that there are people who genuinely care about how the forum is run. Now the thing is, just like how people have different opinions, people also have different ways of expression. Some prefer discreet private messages, some prefer an open discussion so other people who have similar concerns can join in and share their view of the problem, and perhaps ideas from both sides of the table can be discussed, once a matter is discussed and resolved in open, more people benefit from it. Its not really about how you want it to be or how I want it to be, its about how the concerned individual chooses it to be. As long as people are not cursing each other out and being unnecessarily nasty, one should look at it in a positive manner. Like I said before, I don't think people share a concern with a malicious intent, and personally I think ex moderators and channel managers should not be so blatantly accused of having malicious intentions. Give respect where it is due. Like for instance, you wouldn't like to be called a suck up for posting positive feedback, and that would be a negative way of looking at it instead of appreciating genuine commendation where it is due. Pretty much the same applies to negative criticism.
Janwar I think you are taking things the wrong way and out of context. I never said anyone had malicious intents or any such thing. What I did say and what I am reiterating right now is that the way someone was singled out for a whole forum was wrong. There is more than one mod per forum and if there is somethign wrong in the forum then all the mods are to blamed and there is no point in singling one person out. If you think talking things in public has more benefits and tahts the best way of doing things, then tahts your opinion and I politely agree to disagree on that. I am giving respect where it is due and if you read my previous posts I said that these mods were doing a good job when they were mods. Some of them were far better than I was and I don't have any problem in saying that. If people think I am a suck up for positive feedback then sure I don't really mind that one either. No offence, but there is one mod for Jokes. Ultimately it will come down to that mod to do his/her job and keep the forum somewhat clean. Nobody said you're a suck up.
