Buddy, I getchu. We never made ourselves seem superior nor did we want to come across like we’re mudslinging. I hope it’s clear that we don’t do that petty and immature thing of nit-picking or being spiteful towards ANY of the mods. Observation thi, one of the mods was there when we were there as mods and that mod is currently there…I’m sure mod skills can be picked up within a month or so…it doesn’t take Einstein to figure it out.

I am sorry but the way the blogs went and the thread was created it did seem like the mods weren’t put down. Also, if there was incompetence in the jokes section then was only one mod targeted and not the other one. There are other more appropriate ways to deal with mod incompetency and sweetif you know that as well. I had issues with some of the moderation in life1 and I messaged tlk and ehsan bhai and it was taken care of in less than 10 mins. So I still don’t understand the need to publicly go after someone.

There are other more appropriate ways to deal with mod incompetency and sweetif you know that as well. Like I said before, the way of showing concern was of preference…apart from that Jokes only has one mod. CM is there to look after all forums and make sure mods are doing their bit. The mod in question has been there long enough to familiarize herself with the rules..

The one and only good thing I have learn from TLK is - Once he quoted a line on a blazing post of mine - it wasn’t a new quote , read and probably ignored by me on many occasions , by the way it struck me that day , not many things have had ..

He quoted New Testament (John 8:7) ‘’ He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her’'..

After that day , when ever I try to criticize or blame some one for some thing - this line always makes me think ! and to be very honest on 99 out of 100 occasions , i have to let the game go because I have been guilty of doing the same in past ..

Dude, as far as I know credit is given where due. Pretty much everybody, including the ex mods and CMs, knows and acknowledges that the team is doing a good job. And people don't complain because they are maliciously trying to sabotage the new moderator team, or anyone for that matter. People complain because they care. We are all quite regular on the forums, if we see anything out of order, we write about it. It is more about identifying a weak area and helping the senior management to fix that. Its not just for the chaskay of it, if that is how you see it. As long as this site has users who actually do care about how it is being run, AND who can tell the difference between a good component of the system and a bad, rather incompetenet one, there will be negative feedback. Sharing is caring, be that a compliment or a concern. So I think you don't really have to take up the monumental responsibility of protecting the management's honour here, as there is absolutely no threat to it.

Also, you guys have to realize that when you guys were mods and CM you interpreted the rules your way and were strict on somethings and let go of other border line things and the current mods are doing the same thing. They are trying their best to look at threads based on their best judgement and if you disagree then you are more than welcome to report those threads instead of throwing a temper tantrum in front of everyone.

Many MODs have nice tolerance policy and listen both the parties which is a good thing.
But we can’t say Old Mod were not good as they were good to and left a nice platform for new ones.

I am not taking any monumental responsibility or anything for it. I agree with you wholeheartedly that there are some people who genuinely care about how the forum is run and are concerned. My issue with it is how these issues are taken up. In my opinion, and yours might be different from mine, is that you can send tlk or ehsan bhai or muzna or kamal bhai or all of em a private message and trust me it works wonders. Singling out one mod for the whole section and not the other mod for that section is just wrong and completely unfair. You've been on the forums for a good while too and I think you would agree too that opening threads or blogs instead of just reporting or sending a pm to tlk or ehsan bhai is not the most efficient way to get things done either.
