What do you mean by compatibility in a relationship or marriage?How do you know or how can you tell you have great compatibility with your partner?

If there is greater similarity in values, they get to understand each other easily (that does not mean there will not be ANY misundertanding, it means that they will be able to resolve their misunderstanding soon), they like to spend time with each other, they enjoy each others company, they can share anything and everything with each other, they can be together in thick and thin, I guess these are all indicators of good compatibility.

Uh, no..it doesnt take that long to decide whether ur compatible or not. Try months...a year or two at the most.

wait let me ask the couple who got divorced after 10 years of marriage?

if you come with a one month, one year formula. or any generalization for that matter, better be ready to back it up.

They get divorced because either people change (for the worse) or they were tired of trying so hard.

Most couples know if they're compatible or not...some decide to break it off, while others decide to work on it.

for your first line: so this means their initial assesment of compatibility was incorrect? when people change and seperate due to the change, this means they are not compatibility anymore. therefore, as i said the only guarenteed way or knowing compatibility is to get old and die with the other one on your side.

finding out compability is alot harder than finding out uncompatibilty.

You can (even) instantly find out if this guy is not compatible. But it takes years and years of service to find out if two individuals were actually uncompatible. agreed some people work on it and others dont but thats a different topic.

He opened a thread and asked us how he wanted to get hooked with girls from his cousin's facebook friendlist and then he was not happy with the way they put their pictures which showed their modern dressing styles and we all based him.

I guess you are compatible if you know how to forgive and forget and move on. If it's getting hard to do that, then perhaps the compatibility isn't there. No two people are exactly alike. So there are bound to be issues. How easily you overcome them and learn to accept the differences without being unhappy is what it is...I guess.

For me compatibility doesn't need similar life style, values and etc.......
Compatibility means...... You both feel comfortable in each other company regardless how many differences you both have.
