Re: Comparison of Religious Beliefs

I found this verse in Holy Quran talking about the Jews that “And they (Jews) say, “The Fire (i.e. Hell-fire on the Day of Resurrection) shall not touch us but for a few numbered days.” Say (O Muhammad Peace be upon him to them): "Have you taken a covenant from Allah, so that Allah will not break His Covenant? Or is it that you say of Allah what you know not?” [Chapter 2 Verse 80]

Re: Comparison of Religious Beliefs

Yes thats the verse I'm talking about and unfortunately this concept crept into Muslims

Re: Comparison of Religious Beliefs

If we read some previous verses then Almighty Allah clearly said that they distorted in His Book i.e., in the Torah, they wrote it by themselves and then claimed it is from Almighty Allah just for sake of a price in this world. Furthermore, their fathers, forefathers were those people who had seen some miracles of Almighty Allah.

Re: Comparison of Religious Beliefs

They all look the same with minor adjustments of their time period and local culture.

You can tell who is influenced by who especially if you know the chronological order. but interesting nonetheless.

What would be more interesting if some one did comparison of what was before and what it was replaced with.

Re: Comparison of Religious Beliefs

There are plenty of videos available on internet about comparisons of religion + what was before and what it was replaced with, who distorted the books, wrote by their own and then claimed it is from God.

All we need to do some research by ourselves rather then waiting for some1 to do for us.
