Its odd. They say they shouldn't compare themselves with a degraded nation, yet they post on a Pakistani forum, discuss issues related to Pakistan more than India and get happy about Pakistan doing badly.
I guess 60 years later our ex-girlfriend can't deal with the fact that we are better off without her and she was a whore in the first place. Ravaged first by the British, then the Russians and now the Americans.
off course...next to hindi cinema you are our best entertainment.
Pakistan wasn’t born of the modern day nation state of India, which is what he’s referring to. If anything, both nations were born out of the British colonial holdings in the Subcontinent…a hodgepodge of disparate territories from Peshawar to Rangoon that never had been, and never should have been, united under a single government.
Next thing we know, you people will be trying to claim Burma as your own too

And only a fool would think that everything from Balochistan to Manipur should ever have been forcibly amalgamated into a single country. Quite a bit of the strife plaguing the Subcontinent (and Africa, and the Middle East) today is a result of irresponsible colonial imperialism (and subsequent arbitrary nation-building) with little regard for historic and cultural boundaries.

That should be heartbreaking to your Pakistani friends to hear you say Balochistan should not be forcibly amalgamated into a single country.

The Subcontinent would probably have been a more peaceful place today if the British hadn't forcibly incorporated Balochistan and NWFP into "British India." The same goes for Kashmir, Baltistan, India's "Seven Sisters" and other areas that have minimal ethnic, cultural, or historical ties to the Subcontinent.
No disrespect to Pakistanis, but India can not be compared to Pakistan. The two countries are poles apart.
Pakistan & Afghanistan is a more apt comparison.
Only if Indians can comprehend the fact that India and Sub Saharan Africa is more comparable then Pak - India, That is of course on planet earth but the universe Indians live in its more comparable to first world.

If thats the kind of delusion you want to live in, we will take that ;)

lol... From a person who has never been to Pakistan, you certainly make some broad statements.
Trust me, with kind of problems you have, the only difference between Pakistan and India is the qality of the media that covers it.
While you media is content with Bollywood gossip, Pakistan media acually focuses on real iissues. :)
No disrespect to Indians, but you really need to examne the lving conditions of your own people before you can talk. You no shining example.
India has been able to do well in all sectors.Having faced a myriad numbedr of problems like Cross Border terrorism, militancy,Wars,Migrations etc India has been able to stand on its own on many fronts. There are poor people and sadly poverty has not been able to eradicate from India but at the same time there have been concerted efforts to curb the country from it.Despite having a multilingual, multi etnic culture it has been able to stand as a unified country unlike many countries. That shows how solemnised and powerful India is.India is respected everywhere and so Indians.Indians are making their presence everywhere and despite all hardships and struggle India has emerged as the third military power in the world.
There is one more side to this.Untill 1991 ,Indian economy was not doing good but \eversince the introduction of a liberal economy there it has been able to take off the grounds. One simple thing is that Pakistan despite owing allegiance to U.S asnd its side for many decades it still rtemains a poor country..........I am not forgetting that it was under dictatorship for many years..........
And.............. India is the largest democratic country in the world :)
Pakistan has actually done well itself. Compare Pak of today with that of idependance.
Infact, Pakistan has done quite well considering its had to deal with cross border terrorism and such. Not to mention the aftermath of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and the refugee crisis, aswell as having a portion of their country occupied by India.
India despite it all, is still a poor country... They only difference is that Indians hhave become far more delusional. Your a classic case of see no evil hear no evil. :)
If your point is that not all parts of India can be claimed as improved as Karnataka, AP, Tamil Nadu & Gujarat, that is correct. But if you claim there is no significant development then you're completely offbase
=====================
But I agree with your statememt that Indian politicians should clean up their act if effects of economic development are to reach the poor people (which is a massive part of India) in a just way
The cllaim here is that you Indians give yourselvs far more credit then you deserve. Infact, it would be fine, if you didnt relate everything to Pakistan.
But trolls like you and Punjabi and the other Indians cant stop beating each other off.
If your toilet is smells like curry and ours smells like chapli kebab, that doesnt change the fact that your country is still a toilet. Admit it.
nobody is happy about Pakistan doing badly since your chaos affects the entire region. why this victim complex?
such hatred to the extent of calling India those names? what does that make your country that was borne of her? ask any Pakistani and he/she will tell you who is being ravaged by the Americans as we speak.
hatred is what got Pakistan to its current state of daily bombings and civil war.
Chaos is a term used by people like you...Countries all have up and down. India has had more then its share. So please, get over yourself.
And its not we who call India bad names, its you. Your acctions speak louder then word:)
CM is quite correct. You really need to get a life.
India and Pakistan were born of the british empire. And to be quite honest, we really are the better looking of the two. India looks like the retarded gimp child off a mother on crack.. :p

If being good looking means being overrun by religious fundamentalists, having no economy to speak of, being an international pariah and on the verge of implosion I AM SO GLAD THAT WE ARE UGLY :)
