Re: Common english words that most desis pronounce incorrectly
But Allah understands what we wanted to say! Does'nt he?
I completely agree brother, but you see the more we try to improve our namaz by correcting our wordings (slowly day by day) , the more khushu we would get in namaz, and the more effect it would have on our heart. Similarly when we offer namaz while understanding it's meanings, the khushu increases many folds. Thus our namaz becomes like that of a begger who begs from heart, instead of a parrot who says what he has been taught but doesn't know what he is saying.(begging for)
It is similar to a person who when is going to present his presentation to his boss, he tries his level best to use the accent, way of writing, and other minor details which his boss appreciates the most. This is in a way showing respect to the one to whom you are giving your presentation. Namaz is a kind of our presentation of expressing our feelings/respect/gratitude for blessings /fear of being punished....etc. to Allah. :)
Imagine how much Shaitaan would laugh on me and the angels would feel embarrassed if in place of Qalb (heart) I recite kalb (dog)
