Well Arabs can't pronounce "P" so they pronounce it "b" like Bakistan.

Reminds me of an incident. An arab wanted to ask a police man before parking his car in a place in USA. " Officer may I bark (park) here ?"

The officer replied " Well, you may bark as long as you don't bite anyone"

As long as Arabic is concerned, I think most of the muslims (non arabic speaking) pronounce the wordings in namaz wrongly and are not much bothered to correct their wordings ( which might change meanings in some cases)

Yes but that still doesn't mean that you just sit and let things run as they are :). Any letter/word pronounce wrong from Quran can change the meaning (take **Qul **and **Kul **as an example) so we should be careful when reciting the Quran.

So we are making fun of ourselves because we cannot speak a foriegn language properly.:hmmm:

In last 16 yeras, every American pronounced my name wrong (tureeq). How about starting a thread about americans pronouncing the most common desi words, wrong.:snooty:
