There are comments in the Islam forum from non Muslim members which are sarcastic or offensive in tone.
Why is this allowed?
Are you not Muslims? Why do you allow our deen to be denigraded by some kafirs behind a policy of “equal treatment”?
They should contribute sensibly (some do) or stick to the other forums.

our ummah has to come worse things such as sucide bombing, beheading people, back biting, honour killing or gang raping, bribing etc.
there are worse things to worry about our own ummah than a dumb ass comment from a non muslim in some silly forum which i love very much 
Islam Forum? I assume you mean 'Religion Forum', which is for discussion on all religions and faiths, and not solely for Islam. However, there are rules for discussion that are explained in the Rules for the Forum. If you feel any rule is violated, please send a PM to either of the forum moderators and they will decide on a case-by-case basis. General complaints on 'sarcastic or offensive posts' rarely get us anywhere.

Brother you are new here you will see what goes on here. You will soon see many examples of some special members with special previlages to play with the respect of Prophet Mohammad :saw: and all they get is warning points or they just delete the post.
For example if I may recall Mr. roman made a mockery out of the use of :saw: with Anhazoor saw name; what they did with him ? He is back with all his mouth and is welcomed more warmlier than before.
So if you are complaining that some non-muslim said something about islam, dont be troubled. The mod’s and admins prespective is that they are doing their ‘JOB’ as ‘mods’ and ‘admins’ they give 2 $hits about what any ahmedi or non-muslim has to say anything with the respect of prophet mohammad :saw:…
Thats the way it goes, if you dont like it then their are other forums to explore .. right Faisal Bhai ?

So what exactly are you suggesting. Other than editing/deleting/warning/banning, do you now suggest we also send police squads to their homes or send vigilantes units to beat them up?
I think you should slash their throats. Somewhat of a popular trend nowadays in the jihad brigade. :k:
Or throw them in isolated jails on a far flung island and hold them there illegally. Somewhat of a popular trend with the “morally superior” countries. :k:

On a serious note Faisal bhai, you or any mod/admin is old enough with enough brains as a good muslim to know what is more imporant to them ; admin/mod work or doing a LITTLE bit in the name of Allah/Prophet :saw:.
And please please pleas, spare me the note above that " what should we do …beat them up". You are more sensible of a person than anybody i know on gupshup ( and it is true ), you know better than me what action should be taken against em.

Anyway, the aim of this board isn't to turn the site into a strict wahabbi/Saudi site but to reflect Pakistan's culture.
Brother I am not from the strict Whabbism group, alhamdulillah I am a Sunni on the classical path laid out by our Master.
But these kafirs who wax proud and insult our deen and you brothers embrace them. Surely for them should be a greater punishment.
The rule should be clear:
Insult Islam=permanent ban!
Pakistan is a deeply Muslim society, you should try to reflect that.

Why is that the case?
Pakistan is a deeply muslim country but we aren't here just to reflect the views of one segment of it. Lahore and Karachi are very different to Balochistan - and this isn't a madrassah so as a result all reasonable views are welcome.

A little off topic but I think this example best fits here.
I was watching a movie yesterday where a cop killed a mob because he threatened to rape the cop's sister and to kill him. The cop had given that mob several warnings during their previous encounters but now he had had it and he just killed him at the spot. The police dept. said something like this (I don't remember the exact lines) to that cop: This is not how the police deals with mobs. You don't just kill rapers and bad guys, you first warn him that quit your behavior, if he doesn't listen to you, wave your gun in the air and issue another warning, if he still doesn't listen to you, call the control room and ask for instructions, if he still doesn't listen to you, fire in the air, still no good? shoot him in his feet or legs. Don't just shoot him and kill him with the first bullet. To which the cop replied: I am sorry sir. You are right. He had me on the gun point and was threatening to kill me and rape my sister. I should've just warned him AGAIN, then should've waved my gun in the air, call the control room while he had me at the gun point, worry about his rights and ask him nicely not to rape my sister, and if in the meanwhile if he had not listened to me and already shot me, I should've shot him in his feet. That mob was better off because he could freely shoot and I, the policeman, should've followed all the laws regardless of losing my life by not self defencing.
I don't go to religon forum because of the same situation. What "right of opinion" or "freedom of speech" are you talking about? No one talks or discusses any issue like a decent human being. Someone is insulting the Prophet (PBUH) & Islam and you'll just issue warnings and wait for him to behave? Just because he "doesn't know about the religion" or "everyone's entitled to their opinion"? Like the example above, the police is the guppies and mods/admins are police dept. heads, and insulters are the mobs. Just like the cop should've done all that prior to shooting the mob, members should do the same: Talk to that insulter nicely, try to answer his insult nicely and shed some light on how he/she should not insult Islam or Prophets, and if he still does the same thing or tries to get personal, guppies should PM the forum mod who'll show up after 2 or 3 days and say "Let me look into it" and never get back to you and the insulter is free insulting the Prophets or religions in other threads. Bravo!
This is a Pakistani board when it comes to certain issues, and when someone insults the religion or Prophets, then it's not a Pakistani board? Ok fine, the board is reflecting the Pakistani culture, not a saudi culture, Is THIS Pakistani culture? Where people insult the Prophet (PBUH)? OH PLEASE!!! Don't give me that! These idiots should be permanently banned. Not only people who disrespect Muslims, but whoever disrespects any religion. It should be a zero tolerance policy towards such idiotic comments.

Xtremo--- before you go off to PTV and Abrar- is it really so hard to see when a person is directly insulting another religion or its people? I mean come on.There are a lot of direct insults in religion forum -I dont know why you havent seen them yet.
When one member insults another's religion- be it Islam or Chirstianity- I think proper actions should be taken to delete such a reply and pm a warning to that member. Its a matter of watching out for such things, in order to make sure the religion forum doesnt turn into complete religion bashing forum.

just because someone is a raper or black doesnt mean that they are "bad guys". To mention them along side bad guys is probablly the most racist thing ever. True, most of the mainstream rapers hav been involved with the fuzz at some point in their life but that doesn't justify thinking about every raper as a criminal.
on the other hand, i think that GS is pretty conservative. True, mods do just delete some posts for no obvious reason at all and they dont even tell why they deleted it but mostly i think they do an excellent job of keeping the board islamic/pakistani friendly and along side thier values. just go to the images forum. Any sleeveless picture is deleted right on the spot.

Yeah yeah yeah, I know wahi murghi ki aik taang: "PM the mod with the link to the the thread and the post". My question is: Why do mods/admins reply in those thread and IGNORE those insults? Why don't they ban the user right then and there? I don't have any reference right now and I won't have any in the future because I don't visit the forum anymore, because of the same reason. In most of the threads, you ask a simple question and people jump at you like hungry people jump on food.
