folks, i find it hard to believe that all indians and all jews or all christians or all atheists are bad just like not all muslims are.

there must be some good in all of us and those people who are bad, their karma comes onto them sooner than later.

comments of arun ghandi took this heat because they are by 'Arun Ghandi'.
and as such, if he spoke his mind per his observations, he has been made a target of illbegotten spite.
there is a whole lot to unpack when it comes to maintaining credibility.

It's a war between jews and muslims...Jews claimin' they r the chosen folk by God since ever, while Muslims don't know what 2 claim (it seems to me like this)

Why do we have wars in muslims countries and not in a European Country or say christian country? because they r all suckin' the balls of the americans/jews including King Abdullah

comments about USA not helping Israel in the war are wrong. Not only did the USA provide satellite Imagery to the Israelis against the Arabs shield based attack formation they gave weapons too!

In fact all of this was confirmed in a recent BBC documentary!

i must admit, if you dont factor in the palestinian issue jewish people have been victimised throughout history especially in europe. still today jews are seen with small amount of suspicion even by people who are not bothered by their role in palestine.

also it maybe that the elite are calling the shots but the whole religion is getting a bad name

hope this balances my rant abit but as the the middle east is still under dangerous tension its better to bring these aspects out into the open to encourage personal moral accountability

i dont wonder at all

the plublicity around islam was fine during the cold war days

since then 9/11 happenned, iraq and a few other minor issues. but i'll tell you that we are not involved in a joint worldwide conspiracy against anyone!(unlike the other religion)

many people forget that Israel was founded on areas which had a jewish majority

even the jews who came from europe settled in places like tel aviv which was founded by jews from jerusalem who were kicked out by arabs in early 1900.

in 1947, tel aviv's population was more than 300,000. palestine on the whole had 500,000 jews at that time.

it was the arabs who invaded israel in 1948, which caused the innocent palestinian people to become refugees

and arabs attacked israel again 1967 which caused the remainder of palestine which was under arab control to be occupied

Israel needs to withdraw from the occupied lands, end the settlements, compensate the refugees and totally disengage from the affairs of the palestinians

But then again I understand the passion of people like Arun Gandhi.

Even though Israel was forced into this situation, most people side with the weak against the stronger opponent

The forces which occupy Palestine have done nothing more than occupy a sovereign state, same as Saddam did when he invaded Kuwait...

However, strong support of the US in vetoing any resolution passed against the occupying forces have deterred efforts to oust these invaders from Palestine and free an occupied nation under siege...

I've observed that there's a great deal of resentment and jealousy amongst Muslims about Israel, especially people from Pakistan. The two nations were built at about the same time founded on the backs of millions of displaced people but one country has progressed onto great things and the other is moving back into the stone age. Shame on all of you.

The problem with Pakistanis is that they have been focused on the silly issue of Palestine for way too long. Why do Pakistanis care so much about Palestinians when the Arabs themselves dont care? You want to talk about occupation? Why do Pakistanis chant for Palestine when Palestinians dont chant for Kashmir? If you want to talk about occupation being bad deal with Kashmir first and see how many Arabs will stand up against India and help you.

This fetish about Palestine as an "Islamic battle" is a mere distraction [orchestrated by the establishment] away from the horrible state of affairs in the muslim world. Instead of blaming ourselves for our problems we've found it convenient to blame the Jews. Living in poverty? Blame the Jews. Didnt get the job you wanted? Blame the Jews. Dont like the news you're hearing? Blame the jews.

Palestine is not our problem and it never has been - as a Muslim or as a Pakistani it is none of our business. You need to step back and get your priorities checked. For however long Pakistanis will blindly and stupidly get into a fake religious war with Israel, they will spend the rest of their lives sitting in a mud hut dwelling about how good we COULD have been if we just decided to focus on ourselves instead of meddling in other people's business.

Why didn't your Arab champions Egypt and Jordan when they controlled Gaza Strip and West Bank create a Palestinian country on that land and continue to fight to destroy Israel to get the rest?

I don't understand this. Why did Jordan make the West Bank a province in its Kingdom instead of creating an independent country of Palestine if that was the goal of your Arab Champions?
