Combating my hunger

Eurgh im trying to diet but i am just so hungry and it makes me all headachey and all i can think about is the rumbing in my tummy.

For example today I had

Yoghurt and Fruit for breakfast - 100 calories

Then A greek feta salad for lunch - It was a medium size box of lettuce cucumber tomatoes and onions and had 6 cubes of feta and dressing - i didnt eat the dressing and ate 4 cubes of feta left 2 i think that was about 100 caloties too

As a snack i had one of those mini philadelphia light tubs with bread sticks - that was about 114 calories

I am actually dying right now in the library and all i want is a massive burger or a plate full of rice its all i can think about but i really want to avoid carbs arghhhhhhhhhh.

I think im just moaning lol.

Re: Combating my hunger

The other day I woke up at 2 a.m and could not go back to sleep.
So I started channel surfing , and stumbled upon an infomercial about food lovers diet program being paddled by some guy. He was asking 116 dollars just to educate me about this kind of dieting . He was claiming that you can eat whatever you love to eat and still lose weight.
In the morning I decided to check the authenticity of his claims and found tons of information about this kind of dieting where you can mix and match fat burning ingredients to your healthy diet and do not feel starved. There are foods and strategies which help you eat moderately and burn that extra fat in your body.
So I have charted a plan and following it and it is working so far.

This is my google query which helped me chart out this plan .

Re: Combating my hunger

Thanks Mirch :)

I just remembered i have to go to a friends birthday party tonight hence i am going to try and not crack lol.

Guaranteed i will eat unhealthy stuff there.. blah

Re: Combating my hunger

Should I start selling this program of mine ? :hmmm:

Re: Combating my hunger

You can eat whatever you want , but do not let yourself starve before any meal , that is the secret so snack on those fat burning things , like some nuts or some berries whenever you start to feel hungry. So you will not be tempted to overeat.
They say whenever you are hungry your body gets into fat storing mode which you want to avoid. That seems to be the secret of this food lovers diet.

Re: Combating my hunger

a 300 calorie day lol.. my pre-breakfast snack is more than that. isnt it just easier running for an hour than starving all day?

Re: Combating my hunger

you're obviously hungry coz your body needs food; theres no way to combat that other than eating nutritional food. I think you're eating way too little, each of your meals should be at least 400 calories, and you're ingesting that amount for a whole day! Your body just can't sustain itself on such a low amount.

Re: Combating my hunger

LOL , I know someone who starves all day (no breakfast , no lunch) goes for a long walk during lunch break but at dinner time he stuffs himself with rice , roti , desserts etc ( i guess he consumes 3000 calories at dinner) and then he wonders why is he getting fat instead of losing weight.
I tell him abay it is not about skipping lunch or breakfast it is about watching what and how much you eat. It is about managing your food and calorie consumption.

Re: Combating my hunger

Im way to busy and lazy to excercise i find restricting food so much easier and satisfying.

I just ate though - i ate a pot of natural low fat yoghurt with honey about 2 tablespoons and 1 tablespoon of museli. Feel quite full and satisfied. But not really sure how many calories - probs 200?

Yeah im eating hardly anything but carbs are seriously evil and make me fat right away. Going to slowly up my calorie intake with more nutritional foods.

Re: Combating my hunger

What is it with desis and the "eat once a day and ull lose weight!" nonsense?

I've been hearing this almost all my life...eat only one meal a day....ugh.

Re: Combating my hunger

it might surprise you to know that chewing gum reduces ur hunger by 35%

Re: Combating my hunger

I can vouch for that , it also keeps your breath fresh and saves you from bad breath problem.
But use the sugar free gum to save your teeth from dental decay .

Re: Combating my hunger

That sooo sounds like me but this system works for me. Anytime I have breakfast, I tend to keep eating all day and then stuff myself some more at dinner time. This is what I do: Eat nothing until I get home from work, then I grap a light snack or a fruit and eat it right before I eat dinner. Then I have two glasses of water. BY the time I sit down to eat, I already feel too full. I also take multivitamins so that may have something to do with it

Re: Combating my hunger

:k:
You are doing it the right way , the person I know does it the wrong way.

Re: Combating my hunger

^It seems to work for me.

Contrary to popular belief, having 3 or more meals does not work for everyone.

Re: Combating my hunger

no meal after 4 in the evening definitely works for me...if I get too hungry I nibble on an apple. I do that in weekdays and on weekends I eat pait bhar ke, I've been doing this for 3 weeks now and am losing 1 kg a week.

Re: Combating my hunger

lol yeah and that too. you get the teeth whitening gum aswell. whether it works or not is another matter

Re: Combating my hunger

Right now I am focusing on eatingbasic fruits/ vegs and a soup
