yea that happens to me too, indoor my eyes look brown but if i am outside people would say wow u have green eyes...

btw they are hazel.... i wish i had green eyes...

Colored contacts look goon until they suit you but i dont like it when girls have dark complexion and they still wear bright blue contacts which look completely fake yet the dont confess and keep on saying its their natural eye color even when you can see black/brown color coming out of the contacts.
anyway, i wear eithery hazel or grey contacts at times which suit me and look good and natural as well - so people think they are my natural eyes and dont come especially and ask me whether its my original eye color or not.

what is the difference between colored contacts, colored/tinted/highlighted hair, and make up.

is it all not in the same category, you are makig your appearance different?

yeah some will say that make up is not always to make yourself caked with foundation and look like a ghost ..but damn u see that in desis, **like an albino face and a makrani neck.. know what I mean.. **

..and even makeup that is not meant to make you look like a clown, covers blemishes, uneven tones etc etc,

by that token the argument is the same, you are making yourself to look different than what you really look lie..what makes lenses so different?

I would love to get colored contacts..blood red ones, and then walk around and talk to strangers in possessed type of voices in jibberish, that sounds like fun.

i just think its kind of odd when ppl where contacts... colored or not..
its not you...i mean people will have beautiful eyes and they change it with fake contacts
But if you really want something different than of course --theres no harm.. it all depends on what color...obviously like a lime green wud be odd--cause its not well...normal..lol

i want purple contacts just for the hell of it..wud htat be odd??lol

Agree with ya - the brown shades look so 'hot' on me whilst i look 'cool' with the grey shade - i think it all depends on your skin colour, style, appearance and d way you carry it off - and i kno i do a damn good job of carrying off contact lenses which compliment my look rather than stand out as 'fake'.

i think once in a while they're ok, just to change things up
but i dont really like it when ppl wear them 24/7 esp when it looks totally fake

I personally have grey/green eyes. To make em pop I wear enhancers which rock! They are a really greeny blue color and they look wiked! Anyone else try enhancers? Anyway...I need help. I'm going to karachi from Canada this summer and I am out of touch. What do I need to know hair/makeup/beauty wise!!!

well you could say the same thing for clothes and makeup too! you wear clothes and makeup to enhance what God gave you, and more importantly, to make yourself feel good. i'm all for colored contacts- i had green ones for about 2 years and generally, people really liked them. but im back to my original dark brown now. i think its fun to experiment and see what you'd look like if your eyes weren't brown or your hair wasn't blonde or your clothes were different etc.

not a relvant comparison, clothes are meant as a form of protection from the elemtns of outdoors, that sthe main purpose of clothes, fashion aside. colores contacts are just simply covering up for the real you. if you have brown/black eyes, why not be proud of them? rather then vying for something which you will obviusly never get permanetly in real life? plus, i bet the contacts cant be to good for your eyes, any unnatural thign in your eyes inevitably causes some form of damage.

I am sorry to say but it's not true that contacts are prominent among punjabies. i am punjabi and lived in karachi, i have seen both, actually more in karachi.
