If you soak the chicken pieces in either milk or buttermilk, for a few hours or even overnight and then boil them until cooked, you don't need to fry for too long.Only a minute or so for them to brown. The insides are lovely and tender, and crispy outside.
And,I do add some cayenne pepper,or garlic salt too.
Mall , aankh hai ki button … carrot daali hai bi .. I wrote it in the recipe .. go check it out … but I used only one small carrot for every two cups of cabbage … I am gonna make it again this weekend
thanku madaaaaaaammm!!! (in an eng accent) so swet of u. m gonna make kfc tomorrow. but i was thinkin of putting eggs also in marination.. a no no i guess???? IA if it turns out ill share my recipe too ;) dun u put paprika or anything else? honestly i know its such a simple dish my mami also makes it but she boils the chicken first in lil red chilli powder, garlic paste and pepper and oil. she puts lil water so the chicken cooks in it and the water dries up and then she coats chicken in egg maida and cornflakes also..
u can use paprika too but i use red chille instead so it makes it a bit spicy.

Mall .. When I made coleslaw a few times before ... I used to shred the vegies thin as possible .. lekin it didnt give me that market kai coleslaw wala taste ...
So this time I put it in the chopper and turned it into extremely small bits .. and the mixture came out so good , tasted brilliant ... so yeah , do give it a try ...
Here, we get packets of already shredded cabbage/carrots for coleslaw, all u have to do is add the mayo/sauce/etc...
Hmm I like homemade colwslaw more than KFC. I can't stand the overly mayo cole slaw...id rather the mayo barely be touching the cabbage, so its light & crispy...Hmm.
Does KFC really add ajinomoto/chinese salt to its chicken??

basically the chinese salt is a flavour enhancer it is used widely used in chips and other fast food because u will notice it will enhance the taste of any thing .
