Yea, I think the mod Ravage should change the title of the thread because that is a completely false statement. The Muslims as much as the Hindus were responsible for communal tensions.
Let's do a time line of events. The Bombay riots happened in reaction to BJP/Shiv sena supporting the demolition of Babri Masjid because it was built over the location of a destroyed temple that might or might not have existed during the Mughal times right? Why did BJP open up a thousand year old wound? I wonder what had happened before this for BJP to justify doing something like this.....
I agree with sal35 and simplyme in that these religiously affiliated political parties need to be banned. They are the only ones that benefit from the communal killings, riots and hatred between Hindus and Muslims.
