I heard Jal, Komal Rizvi and Sanam Marvi's songs and they were quite boring! They tried to bring back Jugni memories back in dan pe dana but it didn't work...Jals was still good.
And I also think that they should have songs like Vital signs old songs, even good film songs of yesteryears...as well.

I would like to hear old Vital Signs/Junoon songs as well. You can tell Komal Rizvi trying too hard and Sanam Marvi, while technically quite good, was just another run of the mill sufi song. I was sort of expecting Jal to try something new here but umm nothing new there, maybe it will grow on me.
The two best acts hands down were Bilal Khan and Mizraab.

^ Jal tried to do something like Atif did with his song and then nusrat fateh ali songs. And komal Rizvi tried to be like Misha Shafi both their songs reminded me of jugni and jal pari.

ive been waiting for hadiqa to be on coke studio since the first season. she has the natural talent..she can sing in tons of languages..she has the charisma. so why is she not in coke studio yet? this is a joke.

I cant stand komal rizvi..even tho she was good bak in 90's...But i must say she made an effort but but but i was hatin cus she was tryin to act like meesha shafi i could tell she really was makin faces like her LOL

I loved Komal Rizvi's performance, great episode, JAL's song was amazing.

Sanam Marvi did her best to copy Abida Parveen, but Abida Parveen has an edge over singing Sufi Kalam. Sanam is also a talented singer and really impresses when she sings in her own style.

Listening to all the songs again and I think Jal did really good with the Ik Aarzu part of their song, the sufi part is a bit of a drag.
The chorus girl who's setting this show alight is Rachel Viccaji btw, loving her voice.

I finally listened to all the songs. I was afraid of doing so - thought my hopes might be dashed now that I have high expectations.

I'm on the fence about Komal Rizvi. Maybe it's just that its HER, rather than her real voice, and Rohail Hyatt is skilled that he brought out that talent in her, because she did sound pretty decent. Maybe it if wasn't her God awful bloated proud insolent face. She's just arrogant. She has very little skill compared to other sings, but she thinks she's hot stuff, and I still can't get over how she jumped to India back in the 90's as a VJ and sucked Indian behind over there to make herself popular. And now she wants to come onto the one show that is the saving grace for Pakistan? She's an opportunistic git, and she doesn't represent the country at all, Rohail should have found someone with more talent and more home-grown than her.
End performance of Jal with the mast qalandar - nope, I wasn't a fan. They did a good job of it for sure, but it doesn't linger in your mind. I think it's more of the music composition rather than the singer.
They need a third female vocalist. The two viccaji sisters aren't good enough alone - they sound too much alike.
Overall, awesome season, looking forward to what else they have.
Bilal Khan was the best part of it all - he was unique.

And as much as I love Sanam Marvi, they need to not repeat what works. The beauty of the show is that they're trying new things with each song. Sanam worked great - she knows how to sing sufi for sure, and she's a new talent relatiely speaking for the youth. But there are other female vocalists that need some air time too, and people will quickly tire of her style. *Leave people wanting more by doing less. *
