Re: Coffee Cake

Lol Sadaf, 8 oz is appx one cup. I dont know how its availible in the middle east but in the US, its sold usually in 8 oz packs to begin with. And yep, its a cake to be had with coffee and hence called coffee cake.I am actually thinking of baking one today. Esp love the topping part.

AJ: You dont need an invite to come over for chai. Next time you are in Chicago, do let me know but only if you bring Misbah with ya.

Re: Coffee Cake

I see
thanks Ira

Now I have to go to the market to get cheese, brownsugar and cinnamon :hinna:

Till then, i’ll enjoy my coffee without cake

Re: Coffee Cake

Yum, okay I have two questions. Do you greese the pan before pouring in the battar? And what brand of vanilla do you use? I love your recipes, post them more often pretty please!

Re: Coffee Cake

belle, i lightly grease and flour the pan before baking. Also I use imitation vanilla because of the alcohol factor. the original recipe called for almond essence as well but i didnt have that on hand.

I am glad you like the recipes belle, although i doubt i make good stuff, like Daagh does :bummer: But thanks nonetheless. Do share your dessert recipes as well.

Re: Coffee Cake

looks so damn good. Craving cake now, thanks to you

Re: Coffee Cake
