i've got a pack of creamscheese which i need to use, so i WILL make this cake :D
Sadaf, why did you click on the thread Or make it for Abdullah and eat half of it yourself.
nisa: From what i have heard coffee cake is to be served iwth coffee, and it doesnt have coffee in it.
hugsy: have a hug and a cake
Diva: i only post recipes after i have tried them THe pic is also of the cake that i baked. It was pretty moist perhaps because of the cream cheese. I dont like homemade cakes that are dryish and you need to dunk them in chai or something. THis one was pretty good, i even impressed myself. The recipe is exactly as i tried it except that i used olive oil for the cake batter since i didnt have that much butter.
Sadaf let us know how it turns out!
aaish, yes i used equal amount of oil to butter. It turned out fine or perhaps butter would be better. We mostly use oil to bake and cook anyways. But i did use butter for the topping.
Edit: Gemini the Great uploaded the pic for me because i could only make the link appear and not the pic. So the pic is of the actual cake that i baked
Ira - made the cake last night and it has turned out awesome !! Thank you for sharing the recipe. I also added walnuts to the topping, it added an extra crunch. Yum :)
Diva, i m so glad it turned out good for you. I cannot wait to make it again. But i know i will eat the whole thing myself and thats not good for the figure, is it? :D
How much is 8oz cream cheese?
BTW, am I the only one who doesnt see coffee in the ingredients?
then how is it coffee cake?
or are you supposed to have it with coffee?
