You can get boric powder from an american store as well. Try a grocery store or a pharmacy such as CVS or something. Simply sprinkling boric powder in cabinets in the corners and under the sink will help too if you don't want to go thru this whole procedure of using atta. Make sure obviously that kids don't come in contact with the powder though. Also, keep using the sprays and baits and that doesn't mean you spray it once and it'll be all good. No, you have to keep doing this for at least a couple of weeks to a month. Spray a lot in the kitchen, around the walls, in the cracks, etc. Spray at night before going to sleep, around the door areas as well. Spray anywhere you think cockroaches could go to or hide. And remember you have to do this continously and consistently.
I speak from experience. When we first moved into an apartment we used to live in, it was horrible. The people before us were extremely dirty people ugh. Cockroaches everywhere, and my dads first paycheck went towards buying countless sprays, baits, boric powder, etc. We didn't leave them alone, sprayed everyt night and anyplace we thought they could go. But Alhamdulilah, after a month or so the suckers were gone for good. Remember be consistent and they will be gone :)
Five years ago I invested in PestContro. Its a electronic gadget that plugs into any power outlet and . It produces an electromagnetic disturbance and an ultrasonic barrier, causing an irritating pulsation that drives pests out of your home
It works actually, havent spotted a single roach for ages. It will set you back bout a 100 bucks. Thats australian so i think it'll cost around half of that in US dollars. But its worth every cent. No need for sprays and traps and all that stuff.
not even close to what might be the dangers of sprays and stuff. No its not a hazard. It uses the electric wirings in the walls to creat this wall and emits this very very high pitched frequency which only the pests and bugs can hear. So its perfectly safe even around cats and dogs. If you have pet mice then thats a problem
i ve seen some ppl swear by nephthalene balls ..dont ask me if they work..my tarkeeb with cockroaches is to squash and pretend nothing ever happened..so far it has worked.. * kahai cheed mohe*;)
We have quite a few in the bathroom at the rear end of the house. They're big. My maami uses bug spray and has the bathroom washed everyother day. It doesn't help much because none of us kids dare to step inside day or night.
waisey combat kai bait aur woh injections best hain, laikin uss ka use aysa hai kai baits app ko every3 month per change kernay honagay, aur her room mai lagana hoga.mai tou yeh he use kerti hoon aur mayra ghar ALLAH ka huka hai roach free hai....roti bhee roz banti hai haa bu s yeh hai kai roti bana ker foran he safaee ker dayin aur raat mai balkay kabhe bhee sink mai dirty dishes na rakahin..
