Sorry, but that is not true. PPP accepted anything and everything dictated by military as long as they were allowed to continue loot maar. They even created unconstitutional position 'deputy prime minister' and appointed Pervaiz Elahi (mil proxy) against it. They inducted PML(Q) into cabinet. Didn't they 'restore' judiciary only when a phone call from GHQ was received?
You are right , Zardari was not Bhutto and he was too intermediate pass from a cadet college so mental level was equal to understand each other .

Agreed. But then challenging its authority in civilian matters than backing out like this, is worst than what PPP did.
I think NS was adamant but crumbled. There were rumors about Nisar being promoted to the PM position.
The whole saga has been a series of stupidities from N league. No doubt Zardari has been the most shrewd politician, keeping everyone happy.

NS did the biggest mistake by calling COAS to intervene. Shows that none of his party members had what it takes to do negotiation. So far PTI is playing smartly.
IK repeated his demands to COAS shows that he is not going to back off from electoral reforms and independent inquiry under anyone but master of rigging NS. The case is now stronger than ever.

If anything happens to this government, I don't think Sharif family will forgive him and I have a feeling that some politicians within the party now may start a campaign against him. Time for Ch. Nisar run off to his old friend for some protection.

As I said before dharnas, when PAT people were killed by Punjab police, SS should have resigned voluntarily. NS could not deal with dharnas, then he should have resigned and let some other sane PML(N) leader should have appointed as PM. That was the only solution left instead of bringing army as mediator. What kind of democracy is this? This should be written in Guinness World Record. Andher Nagri Chopat Raja.
