In fact COAS should demand $1 billion in gold bullion like India and China are hoarding these days.
Now that would be the smart thing to do and force the Americans to put their money where their mouth is. 
Otherwise it’s easy for Federal Reserve to print a billion dollars like they grow on trees.
There is no real asset backing the dollar.

yeh... and the reason why the dollar hasnt lost value despite people like you, ISIS, etc claiming from decades the very same thing is? gold has no real value besides what supply and demand set its price to. same as dollar.

Because of its special World Reserve Currency status where any country who has to buy oil needs to buy US dollars first.
If any country dare go against that 'divine' law, it is destroyed by the American imperial military power.
American debt is $17 Trillion and the government deficit is > $450 Billion dollars and the Fed prints multi-billion dollars each month in its Great Money Tree Factory.
So why are India and China stocking up on Gold ?

I think if there truly is a $1 billion dollar deal, the COAS sold himself really short. 
In light of the fact that the US Federal Reserve has been printing several billion dollars monthly, $1 billion is peanuts for getting involved in more unholy American imperial wars.
Heck Israel gets about 4 billion FREE dollars, every year, just for being … well … IsraHell.
