coming back to the topic: I did co-ed from kindergarten to 5 and than after high school meaning undergrad and masters.
I consider it VERY important in terms of a person’s development, confidence, communication skills (larkay larki ko impress kerne k liye tameez se bhi baat ker lete hayn 
and vice versa). It also prepares you for your professional lives.
