coming back to the topic: I did co-ed from kindergarten to 5 and than after high school meaning undergrad and masters.

I consider it VERY important in terms of a person’s development, confidence, communication skills (larkay larki ko impress kerne k liye tameez se bhi baat ker lete hayn and vice versa). It also prepares you for your professional lives.

Let’s just say that when you’re around the same sex at school.. you’re more comfortable? At least that’s how I felt. I wouldn’t worry about what I can and what I can’t say… had to think before I speak. But I guess that’s a good thing? =D

Yeah that’s what I’m saying na. It’s like girls can be silly and not fear or take tenshun about how the boys would react to it. Sounds like a life1 situation when I write it down but it’s like no men folk judging you on how you eat your burger? Yeah I know I’m not making any sense.

The guys don’t care if the girls are watching, they act silly regardless of who’s watching them.
And we have no problem eating like janglees, at least at school. Can’t be janglee anymore, hate this about work.

I went to a co-Ed school for primary schooling and then to a all girls school for almost 8 years. And then back to Co-education in my late teen years. And I admit the transition from all girls to co-ed was a little weird for me. You can call it an awkward social experience when I was 'settling in' the new school. And I think it held me back for a little time as I was a little shy when it came to expressing myself when generally I am a very confident person. What kind of school did you go to? How did it help you being a more confident student/person?

Do you think in todays day and age Co-Education is an important aspect of personal and social upbringing of kids? Or we can do just as good without it too?

If you could go back and change the kind of schooling you got, would you do that?

Co education is not allowed in Islam completely forbidden and it creates more problems than doing anything good

I was in class 1 at that time so I thought all non family girls were yucky
