mmm I took a few pictures of designs on clothes and shoes that I got because I need to start giving my mom an idea about the clothes I want to make for my cousin’s shaadi (which is this winter in Pakistan).
Sooooooo. I thought, heck, why not post them on GS
Ok well these are just a few of the clothes that I have right now, that I like the designs on. I had to white out the background because it was really a distraction to the eye when looking at the pics.
mm ok red and black suit: the black thing on the left is the duputta, and the black thing on the right is the pants (the red design is on the bottom half…they’re just folded to fit the pic)

this suit is orange at the top, and then slowly fades into a maroon color at the bottom

Aah, Ammi keeps saying “beta, lehnga’s are out of fashion!” but I really liked wearing them, and this design is soooo pretty on the shirt

Ok. Don’t tell anyone :p. 250 Ruppees Kasme. Actually, the guy was selling it to us for like 500 ruppees at first, and I was like Ammi why are you complaining!!! that’s an excellent price!! (ofcourse, I was comparing it to the prices here ) and Ammi was like "beta, chupp kurro!!! english mein mutt bolo! price ooper kurtai rehngai !!! "…
So yea. Ahan those are like one of my favorite pairs of shoes too.
Thats a brilliant price compared to what it costs over here for a decent pair of sandals, they are just so pretty, you could just about get a hairband over here for that price.
My mum also always tells me not to speak in english when we go shopping in Pakistan. Even if i talk in Urdu or Punjabi they can still tell i am a foreigner from my accent. They rip you off over there when they find out you are a foreigner, but to us it doesnt seem like anything is expensive over there.
