It is up to you how you choose to cover your stove. The videos posted were to give you some idea. However, she did use excessive foil. Some do cover the entire stove, some cover the burner plates only. It can be** fire hazardous**, esp if you have food/grease/oil remaining on the foil which builds up, esp if you do not wipe it clean. Same applies to an uncovered stove, that is also left with grease/ food build up.

Give it a try and see how it works out. If it doesn’t work out, well …

Yes this part mainly concerns me,as i still don’t know about the level of safety. I would preferably be avoiding the burner.
