I wish I had the technology to tolerate a cleaning service in myself but I don't. Unless it's cleaned by me, it's not satisfactory. I clean everyday the whole lot frm bathrooms to kitchens.
Dusting mopping sweeping polishing, if I dnt do it then I cannot sleep.
My heads so screwed tht I also include wiping off fingerprints frm fridge door, light switches, washing machine, microwave etc
I use after shower sprays in the showers, saves them frm getting dirty, thts the only shortcut, preen for carpets once a month on our rugs, makes them come out bright.
So 'fess up....how many of you are using the services of a cleaning lady?

I am using twice a mnth but its ok you just have to guide them sometime.My maid usually do baseboards one week and another week she does blinds. We divide some works like she clean fans one week and next time she cleans walls.
Rest she cleans restrooms,vacuum,making bed , kitchen etc
we have one, my mum has her come once a week and she cleans the house from top to bottom. she's a really nice indian lady and she cooks fantastic food 2. sometimes if she doesnt have another job to go to she insists on cooking a dish for us before she leaves

my SIL is so obsessive that she pulls both the stove and fridge out and away from the wall every single weekend to clean behind them.

Honestly it usually takes me to 2 hours max to clean the whole house, I think 2 hours is enough time if you just know how to manage your time, and I don't do a poor job. Cleaning is: changing the bed sheets, making beds, cleaning glass surfaces, toilet cleaning, scrubbing the bathtubs/sinks, cleaning out the stove, inside of microwave, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing clothes.
I'm saving a lot of money doing it myself, and I'm pretty lazy but I can get myself to be fast and swift when work needs to be done.
When we lived in canada, we used to share one of our friends nanny. She used to come over for the weekend, she used to clean the house top to bottom, and then helped with laundry and ironing too. Sher was a philipino, and was extremely clean and quick. used to charge about 200/month + food and lodging for the weekend. It worked out really well for us.
My sis gets a private company to come and clean once a week, usually 6-7 women come and clean her entire house, but she has an other woman who come 3-4 times a week about 3-4 hours each visit to do other household stuff. If she need extra cleaning she uses her. She pays by the hour.
My sis in law, she get some one to come everyother day for 2 hours and do the cleaning etc. She also pays by the hour because when there are parties etc at her place she keeps her longer.
All of us are/were satisfied with our domestic help.
