CJ's Lawyer - Called in Court for his statement...

CJ’s lawyer and Supreme Court Bar Association’s chairman Munir A Malik was asked by Supreme Court to report about his statement a day before in which he said “ager CJ k muqadmey ka faisla aawam kee khoishaat k tehat na howa tu wo aadalat ko jala dain gaay” (If CJ’s case is not decided as per public’s mood, then they will burn the courts)

So much for “free courts and judiciary” … Munir A Malik is nothing but a loyal PPP activist who is trying to use this as political yard stick !

Re: CJ's Lawyer - Called in Court for his statement...

CJ and his goons are resorting to their typical ghunda gardi. Public chitrole all around for these peons and typists (judges and lawyers) of Pakistan.

These border-line literate criminals are a BIGGER threat to Pakistan then their mullahtic loony buddies.

Re: CJ's Lawyer - Called in Court for his statement...

Let me recap the statements of TOP CJ Lawyers during all this saga. While reading the recap, keep in mind that as per them, they are FIGHTING for FREE JUDICIARY

The Malik guy proved that he is a JAHAL (not Jahil, but Jahal, a special kind of Jahil).

When everything is going your way, it would take the biggest idiot in the world to ruin his case like this.

Re: CJ's Lawyer - Called in Court for his statement...

It just shows that jahiliat is not limited to un-educated lot.

Re: CJ's Lawyer - Called in Court for his statement...

What did you expect from peons and typists.

Re: CJ's Lawyer - Called in Court for his statement...

Pathetic. Did not expect this from Munir.

Re: CJ's Lawyer - Called in Court for his statement...

Last wek on TV1 (owned by Interflow Comm Ltd) their current affairs talkshow host Dr Danish had 3 guests over. Dr Barrister Shahida Jamil former Fed Law Minister, Dr Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif Legal and Constitutional Expert GoP and Advocate Munir-ur-Rehman Secy SHCBA.

The program was about 2 hours long. During the discussions Munir A Malik also called in. And his statements which should have made headlines the next day but in this age of reporting by choice, unsurprisingly didn't, were to the following effect;

When asked by Dr Danish if he thought the CJ issue is a judicial or political issue? *
Though being a lawyer he said the movement was now beyond Chaudry Iftikhar and he blatantly expressed his political motives in sating that 'we'll rid the country of Army rule, ensure judicial supremacy and so on...'
*When asked what would he do and what his reaction would be if the SC verdict is against Chaudry Iftikhar, because as the President and govt have said, they'd accept the SC verdict no matter which side it eventually favours, so would he and his fellow lawyers, judges etc accept the SC's Supreme verdict even if it is against the Chaudry Iftikhar and their desires?

He clearly and openly said that if the verdict from the SC was against the disputed CJ, he and his fellows would not accept it and take the matter to the SC of the people of Pakistan, i.e. Awam ki Adalat (whatever that means or socialunrest?), and would burn the aiwaan (could mean parliament, president house or SC!). In saying this he openly stated that he as well as many of his fellows want and demand only 1 type of verdict and if its not according to their will, they will refuse even themselves to abide by the supremacy of the SC which they at the moment are apparently crying for while deceiving the public. They will refuse to accept the verdict and hence commit contempt of court. Shows how hollow and corrupt their own agendas and false claims for righteousnesses or judicial supremacy etc are...

When Dr Danish asked Barrister Mohammed Ali Saif to comment, he said 'I’m thankful that Munir Malik has expressed his true inner feelings openly and made it clear to everyone what his professionalism, motives etc are.' He also advised Dr Danish that it was good that they talked to him at that time of the night (10pm onwards) as Munir Malik was probably in such a state (pointing at being drunk etc?) that he was blurting out the truth and not covering it with sugar. He also said thet Munir Malik should stop being a lawyer or should join any political party of his choice because his interests are not hidden any more.

Apart from all these comments, Munir Malik also unleashed his usual unprofessional and immoral as well as treacherous remarks for Pervez Musharraf, who apart from just Pervez Musharraf is also a General the COAS Pakistan Army and President IRoP, and any mudslinging at him atleats from senior legal professionals sounds much irresponsible to say the least. More so when apparently the President says he’d abide by the SC and Law, which should rest their concerns and bias against him atleast for the moment or until they're saying its a judicial issue and they're involved as legal professionals and not politicians! But then again that would be when everyone would hail SC and Judicial Supremacy, unfortunately though its only an empty slogan and even judicial characters are and act dubious.

When Adv Munir-ur-Rehman, Munir Malik's colleague, was asked to comment on his companion and representative's blatant views, he was unable to answer and literally began dodging questions lamely, but as the host trapped him, he couldn't endorse nor reject Munir Malik's views because he was scared of making a controversial statement and unleashing wrath as contempt of court and on the other hand displeasing his leader!
Ridiculous.

Re: CJ’s Lawyer - Called in Court for his statement…

Meanwhile poor Fazlu…Truth for a price! Thats why he speaks of it less often

Fazl’s remarks on CJ slammed

Lawyers of various bar councils continued their one-hour boycott of the courts on Monday and vociferously condemned the remarks attributed to the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman. At the Multi-Party Conference held in London, the cleric is reported to have commented that Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry’s refusal to resign was based on personal motives and not in the interest of the country’s judiciary.

Re: CJ's Lawyer - Called in Court for his statement...

so what action did the court take against the lawyer?

Re: CJ's Lawyer - Called in Court for his statement...

question is what action did lawyers take against this lameness by one of their own?

did they move to disbar him? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

nope, not as far as I can see. but they were pretty trigger happy as they disbarred ppl they did not agree with.

curious indeed.

Re: CJ's Lawyer - Called in Court for his statement...

Saiyaan baney kotwaal tu dar kahey ka ?

Re: CJ's Lawyer - Called in Court for his statement...

:D

Re: CJ's Lawyer - Called in Court for his statement...

forget the lawyers i am sure if these statements can proven than there must be an action the court should take. what was it a reprimand? or what?

Re: CJ’s Lawyer - Called in Court for his statement…

What I cannot understand is why the Chief Justice and his chief counsel Aitzaz Ahsan are still doing in the company of this man Munir Malik, who blatantly said people should burn down the Supreme Court if it goes against Iftikhar. He has not denied making this statement, which amounts to nothing short of initimidation of the judges.

Re: CJ's Lawyer - Called in Court for his statement...

some should kill this ****ing chief justice dude, caused enough trouble as it is
