Gillani was guilty of obstruction of justice, and then refused a supreme court order for which he was bound to be held in contempt. Everyone knows that much law.

I guess not everyone knows that much law because contempt of court and obstruction of justice are totally different things. The contempt of court is when you fail to comply with judge/court’s order, and obstruction of justice is when you failed to assist law enforcement officials (such as helping police in investigating a crime). Gillani was charged with contempt of court…for failing to implement an unenforceable court order based in foreign jurisdiction.
