ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Wednesday took notice of Imran Khan’s remarks about judiciary’s role in May 11 parliamentary elections.

Issuing a contempt of court notice, the Supreme Court asked PTI chief to appear in person on Friday.

In a statement, the Supreme Court has said that Khan uttered derogatry remarks against the judiciary. - SAMAA

The judiciary which is almost dead since parliamentary elections has suddenly awoken. They don't care about what people are thinking of their conduct during and post elections but get annoyed by a statement. Pathetic.

Agar iftikhar nangi jarihat karay ga tou loog ussay nanga hee dekhay gay.

Everyone with little intelligence knew that iftikhar is sold out entity to Nawaz, but iftikhar should have made his illegal and bias decisions with pants up (some cover on his sharm). Iftikhar did not even cared to keep his pants up when showing his biases, so why he and SC is crying when people seeing SC and Iftikhar pants-down bias decisions and their khuli sharm-gahs then calling spade a spade?

Ironically, this chief justice is chief justice mainly because of people like Imran Khan and Aitezaz Hussain. Shame on him to ignore bigger issues and run after personal remarks.

cheap justice, when ppl were on road asking for justice, tab yeh sotay rehtay thay, I used to respect iftikhar chaudry a lot but after the recent incidents I have changed my mind

do i need to post pics of showbaz doing rangbazian like checking gutters and drains with fouj zafar mouj of cameras. This showbaz inagurates one school and for the rest of the week whole page ads r published.
