The food at Monal is over-rated. It aint all that. People usually love it more cos of the views that it provides and the outdoors atmosphere. And i like the place for this reason (have some fond memories of this place). The night view does remind me of city of los angeles looking down from san gabriel mountains, griffith observatory (this ref for those that have seen both places)

Any one checked 1969 resturant near kanwal lake? It has one of the tastiest and smallest jalebees in islamabad.
