City of Mountains- Islamabad

Last week I went to Islamabad to spend my winter holidays. This time I visited with the intention that I would share some moments with my GS fellows.

These all pics are taken from the roof of the apartment I stayed in, from where The Fascinating Faisal Mosque can clearly be seen.

Re: City of Mountains- Islamabad

Here are some pics I took on my last visit to Islamabad, I’m sharing them here, with Elegance’s permission of course  Hope you guys will like them!

Faisal Mosque from Daman-e-Koh

Beautiful drive upto Daman-e-Koh

Nice Khamba :@:

Re: City of Mountains- Islamabad

Khanpur lake and Khanpur Dam, about an hour’s drive from the city.

Re: City of Mountains- Islamabad

Rawal lake, a beautiful park has been made next to it, called the Lakepoint. Both lakes are one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to, match that with a sense of belonging…priceless!

Re: City of Mountains- Islamabad

Its the most beautiful city in the whole world! I miss my Isloo! Wondergirl, awesome pictures. p.s. I can tell that its no longer the isloo from the 80s and early 90s, they've cut so much of the amazingly beautiful forest cover :(

2 thumbs up for the thread!
