CIA warns I.S.I

Alhamdulilallah. Thanks to Unprecedented Economic Growth, and Unprecedented amount of Foreign Reserves inherited by the new government, Pakistan is able to survive the current crisis. :jhanda:

Time for the government to govern, rather than continuing with nonsensical rhetoric - otherwise Pakistan is in for a very rough ride when the Unprecedented amount of foreign reserves run out.. :frowning:

Though I am against chest-thumping/arrogant view of what vroom said about "bravado" but then you jumped two feet ahead of him in your own arrogance and ignorance. Read the bolded part. The flour crisis does not mean that Pakistan would die of hunger like many Indians do rather its a result of negligence on govt part and allowed exports on speculations that wheat crop will exceed expectations.

Applies to you as well.

Atleast we are not asking food grains under PL 480 programme....now tell me who is begging and who is not???

You need to calm down first and then read back your comment which said "your entire population would die of hunger", think again then come back.

hooda is right in a way that if wheat import is stopped, entire population would suffer. Wheat is the only major food for the majority of population.

Re: CIA warns I.S.I

yup....got it

I beg to differ. The import of wheat from US is not to provide sufficient food to the population rather control the prices.

its not empty bravado but a realistic counter threat to suggest pakistan has more tools to play with then many other nations when it comes to defence

the united states policy of warning the isi has been going on for a long time and their still being patient?? the truth is they dont want to come face to face with pakistan, atleast not yet.

its only pakistans defensive strength which has forced potential aggressors to rethink their policy and keep warning. they cant even up the tempo too much

working against cia normally carries grave punishment, not warnings

Don't be Ahmadenejat Varoom bro!

We don't have "more tools" unless we want to hurt our own head.

It boggles my mind that a leftie baja called NYT can so easily roil some of our watan-prasts.

CIA and ISI had their ups and downs, but suggesting that one is threatening the other is simply a dreamz issue with the American liberals.

Just go easy guy! Don't let the lefties get your better sense of judgement.

Sir, I am afraid of I.S.I(leave alone the case of C.I.A) :hoola:

Dear Sir , I.S.I,rather than changing the world’s military balance, let them save Pakstani military from it’s Baloch and NWFP cripplings :stuck_out_tongue:

Third sentenceis even more funny. So NATO can not operate in Afghanistan without I.S.I

Re: CIA warns I.S.I

V room, your I.S.I should teach your policemen first,before setting about to `transform’ world’s military balance… :stuck_out_tongue:

Police walk into their own trap -DAWN - National; July 31, 2008

if pakistan was to ban supplies to nato then there are no other states around afghanistan which would allow supplies through for anti pak use. go look at the map

Re: CIA warns I.S.I

Comeon,NATO do not need the support of Pakistan.NATO is being led by a pivotal role called U.S and it can airlift the supplies, without Pak being used.My dear friend ,U.S and it's allies have proven it 63 years ago itself, during Berlin blockade. Pls remember that if U.S demands,Pakistan will have to comply and you need not take it in an offensive angle but that's the stark reality.

Do not you think the former U.S.S.R confederates will comply to a U.S demand,if such a situation arises?

Pls go grab a map and find out yourself.

Re: CIA warns I.S.I

are you talking about the same confederates that are trying their hardest to get away from clinches of the once friendly US - which these days is eyeing their oil with lust? or the members of the oic which recently issued a statement calling isaf imperialists simply because of a few headlines?

airlifted supplies to afghanistan are a complete joke, you need to have another look at the map

Re: CIA warns I.S.I

Would you pls tell me how did Northern Alliance leader Rashid Dostam receive helps, during the Alliance push to topple Taliban from Kabul in 2001?Pls check the map also before putting your replies.

Gesto bro! Calm down. Your biases against Pakistan are getting the better part of your analysis.

Just ignore Vroom. Poor soul doesn't know the geostrategic position of Pakistan and the historical role it has played in the region.

Supplying NATO is a good business. We make a lot of money supplying fuel and food to NATO. It also generates a lot of employment in Pakistan.

Pakistan is a major Not-NATO ally in the region. This is one of the steps where Pakistan could potentially become a full NATO member like Turkey.

And this is not something new. Pakistan was a member of a similar alliance called CETO long before many of the GS posters were even born.

As I said, do not give anymore credence to NYT than what this leftie baja deserves. CIA and ISI will work together even though they may face few bumps here and there.

CIA knows that ISI is paying for the Afghan war with the blood of its officers and jawans. You guys don't even mention how three ISI officers were murdered by the Taliban and AlQaida.

May God keep Pakistani and NATO officers and jawans safe from the anarchists and terrorists. Ameen!

Re: CIA warns I.S.I

lets put it this way, CIA worked with ISI to oust commies before, they wouldnt give a damn to ISI or Pakistan if its not needed by them. they require ISI and PAkistan hence this discussion.

while CIA has tendancy not to recognise its operatives(OBL and co) from past, ISI may have hard time turning against its ex-operatives(taliban) due to relegious, culture and traditions local to this part of the world. for this very same reason CIA wouldnt trust much ISI but only the get information and support when needed, on the other ISI would get frustrated as being treated as B-Team.

bhai mere, if ISI wanted to become and claim "sovereign" and play its own game US govt can put the same embargo as against Saddam and cripple the country. There is no need for Pakistan/ISI to take CIA/US heads-on.

burqaposhx Bhai, whats the point in calming down, when there is no anger point even existed?

I do not know how this bias factor came all on a sudden?I rely on facts and figures and if that sounds biased, then it's the problem with this world and history. You just can't blame any other person for that.

It's a proven thing that C.I.A and I.S.I co-ordinate and it's a regional demand rather than a strategic demand.I.S.I has got a good control over Taliban and its operations and it's not a secret at all.Ofcourse an agency like C.I.A definitely understands the importance of I.S.I.But ofcourse there is a transgrission point beyond that C.I.A will definitely not let I.S.I to jump and there is no doubt that C.I.A would not have taken I.S.I in to confidence in it's 2001 push to Kabul.Oneaftermath of that attittude was,the merciless and brutal killings of Pakistani fighetrs who hadbeen with Taliban that time,in kabul in broad day light.Ofcorse I.S.I has considerable influence still exists on Taliban but it does not mean that C.I.A will fully rely on I.S.I .

but if a need arises,my prime point,is that NATO do not have to rely on Pakistan.
