I think Americans hold themselves up to a higher standard then say India, Pakistan, and certainly Saudi Arabia. When you hold yourself to a certain standard, then there is no question of “degree’s,” as any degree of hypocrisy in a nation which holds justice and human rights in such high esteem is a source of shame and should be a source for deep introspection.

They dont celebrate it, except they sorta do when the CIA and former Bush administration credit “enhanced interrogation” with helping to defend America against another 9/11. Technically, thats celebrating a supposedly successful program.
