CIA torture brutal and ineffective

Interesting. Can we expect something like this in Pakistan?

CIA torture brutal and ineffective: US Senate report – The Express Tribune

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

Hate can make people do hateful and brutal things, seems they justified all that by moving the brutality off of the Holy American Soil into Cuba so the American Constitution could not be applied to these hateful Acts!

****We don't see things as they are; we see things as we are!

and if we are good than everything we do is also good!

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

Absolutely disgusting!

The war of terror of amreeka.

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

According to Queer and Reha,Amreeeeeka can do no wrong.Angels and Doves rule that land. :)

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

Sure. Remember the infamous “Cheeraa” technique used by authorities in mid '90s against youngsters in Karachi? Late inspector Bahadur Ali was very well known for that. It made countless guys disabled.

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

BTW, agencies around the world use several notorious and torturing techniques to gain their objectives, its not just one particular agency for that matter.

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

I can condone brutality since many of the guys who were tortured deserved it. But by CIA's own account, the torture proved ineffective with the detainees giving false leads and sending CIA on a wild goose chase. Need a more effective system to combat terror.

Don’t think that queer or reha ever claimed that. If anything, then Reha and Queer would proudly say that this is the only country where it’s own Senate intelligence committee will highlight the wrong doings of the country’s intelligence agency. Find me another example where a country performs it’s own appendix surgery, and continue to do that. No one is perfect, but at least this country has a superb check and balance system in place

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

yes...the governments all around the world including the superpower, USA, must try to root out the root causes of terrorism in earnest. if not then i'm afraid these ugly heads will keep popping up.

Palestinian issue must be resolved along with other pressing issues of the Muslim world that includes providing funds for education, health and infra-structure. Muslim countries are super rich themselves, they don't need Uncle Sam...having said that, US needs to provide logistics and training.

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

It is shameful that CIA had to resort to such tactics but they do have foiled several potential attacks in the USA since 9/11.

Especially in light of the Peshawar attach which is by no means is the first in Pakistan, wonder if Pakistanis will want their ISI to emulate CIA, find and foil terror attacks before they occur.

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

Yeah thank God for that.

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

And tell US stop selling weapons to Wahabis.

Let’s ask @queer and @Reha that directly

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

I think this torture stuff is nothing compare to GITMO and Abu Ghuraib.

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

And no role of Saudis in that?

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

in what?

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

Instead of making excuses, you guys should condemn brutality. Double standards.

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

Selling weapons to wahabis.. or you meant US stop selling weapons to Saudis?

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

Well Saudis are Wahabis, ain't it?

Re: CIA torture brutal and ineffective

I thought you meant wahabis in isis etc
