I’ve actually always been in love with that one! the straight pants give the traditional look a modern touch.

is chundari and bandini the same?

Yes I think, because both chundari and bandhini are used for the same square dotted fabric design, but there maybe a difference in technique...I know that the word 'bandhini' comes from the technique where the cloth to be dyed is tied very tightly and then dyed, hence the 'bandhna' gives 'bandhini'
