Re: Chubby Brides
Im sure she's not fat or chubby (compared to most non-celebs/models people) but that dress makes her look like a freakin whale.
No, the 1st one is Ronak Lakhani walking the ramp for Faiza Samee.
The the 2nd one is Aisha Tammy Haq walking the ramp for Faiza Samee.
Both are different outfits.
Re: Chubby Brides
I would love to see them Sara. . .
Re: Chubby Brides
Nice to see that not all bride go crazy over their weight, I have this friend who didn't eat for a entire week, because she was so desperate to lose weight ... I'm still amazed by how far people will go to get what they want ...
poof
Could this link please be removed? The bride is my best friend's sister, and they're not too pleased about the pictures being up on Picasa and then being quoted here... thank you.
Re: Chubby Brides
Thank you Mahismart! :)
Came across this whilst I was browsing another forum for wedding ideas:
'They even have a chubby brides thread, which has pix of ppl I know'**
**
Link removed.

** Firstly, small world.. but I don't think the idea of this thread is bad at all and it's not like anyone is being malicious, no-one would bat an eyelid if there was a thread for tall skinny girls suggesting what would look good on them and so on..
Always interesting to see what ppl on other forums think tho I guess..
I'm personally not a fan of this thread. Chubby seems to be pseudo-nice way of saying "fat" or can't make the fit-list.
If a bride posts her own pic and calls herself chubby so be it - but for others to judge her as such and then make that judgment available for all to see is not kind.
Why don't we have a thread on stick-thin/anorexic brides or short/tighni/bowni brides or sawanli/kaali brides or gori/pasty brides or tall/gigantic brides - they've got body/physique-specific issues that set them apart from others.
The titles I've used above show that no matter how politically correct you try to be - any label can be misconstrued and there is unkind way of saying the same thing.
Okay rant over!
Re: Chubby Brides
Maybe the title of the thread can be changed to Curvy Brides...just an idea

EXACTLY. Finally i'm not the only one who finds this idea and concept quite retarded. Every other well known guppan here is known by her designer's jora or whatever, why the heck should someone be known by their weight?
Rant over as well rolleyes
Re: Chubby Brides
i think you all misunderstood the reason this thread was started
"does anyone have any bridal idea for large brides mean who are tall and chubby?
anyy pics and links would be highly appreciated '"
a girl wanted some ideas for her day, i dont understand why people started posting pics in this thread?
Re: Chubby Brides
i think this thread needs to be deleted or merged with the bridal pics forum..
a bride is a bride, skinny as a stick or curvy...i know its easy to say when you are skinny..but lets not start differentiating the types of brides...
make and not soo good looking/ hot brides thread too...
i kind of laugh when i see this topic....we are int he 21st century guys...if you are going to keep thinking ooohh im fat..oo cant be a fat bride... its ur body man...given to you by god...
if you have self esteem issues..what makes you think ppl wont critisize you and they are going to do it anyways...and i jsut cant wait for tht generation thinking to be done with...
