Came across this whilst I was browsing another forum for wedding ideas:

I’m personally not a fan of this thread. Chubby seems to be pseudo-nice way of saying “fat” or can’t make the fit-list.
If a bride posts her own pic and calls herself chubby so be it - but for others to judge her as such and then make that judgment available for all to see is not kind.
Why don’t we have a thread on stick-thin/anorexic brides or short/tighni/bowni brides or sawanli/kaali brides or gori/pasty brides or tall/gigantic brides - they’ve got body/physique-specific issues that set them apart from others.
The titles I’ve used above show that no matter how politically correct you try to be - any label can be misconstrued and there is unkind way of saying the same thing.

EXACTLY. Finally i’m not the only one who finds this idea and concept quite retarded. Every other well known guppan here is known by her designer’s jora or whatever, why the heck should someone be known by their weight?
