Religious books are open to interpretation. To expect unanimous agreement on issues is quite foolish. And yes, if a religious book teaches discrimination against gays, just skip that chapter.

The Iranian Rehan ?said it best. People confuse religion with faith. Faith is belief. The ultimate goal. Religion is means to the end. So if one chapter teaches u to discriminate, take a different path. Use ur analytical reasoning to make correct choices. Rather than follow like sheep.

RV’s point makes no sense. there is really no unanimous agreement in religion, and even if there was, thats not even the point. this is a secular country so it doesn’t even matter what Christianity ‘unanimously’ decides.
