yes well you are right. i even told my mom and she also told me the same things. its quite sad as we are childhood friends practically sisters. my friend used to feed me with the feeder when i was young and then when i grew up a little we used to play together and we were in the same school for quite a while and when i think of those days i feel deeply saddened. i am thinking why her! but what happens happens for a reason and we should accept that

btw anyone reading this thread, please make sure that you ask your child's caretaker, baby sitter or even well intentoned uncles and aunts to follow your requirements on how to do things. reminds me I need to chat with the daycare for my kids about this as well.
the drowning related incidents can be reduced significantly if kids are always bathed in their tub, and the level of water can not exceed a few inches, easily done in baby tbs by just drilling holes at certain heights. insist that the kid is not to be left alone or for caretakers at home, that the bathign takes place when you are around atleast.
get stuff to secure the knobs so the kid can not turn it on himself.
to prevent scalding, set the temp on the waterheater down so it is not scalding watercoming from the hot water line.
I have seen sensors that can be put on kids that start beeping like crazy when they get under water. those things are really life savers.
teh devices and safeguards decrease chances of mishaps, but ultimately it is the parents (and after that caretakers )responsibility to make sure the kid is safe

Ah ha, another fellow who beleives that quranic laws are no longer valid due to modren age. Ummmmmmmm If the same logic is applied then half of the muslim population has to divorce there wife’s and abondun their Kids:confused:
