from what i know some people in pakistan while bothering each other and making fun of each other call the other "oye chooray/choori" <--therefore i think its meant to be a derogatory remark.

I have never heard Choorhay being used for Christians…Choorhay, at least in Karachi, denoted someone ‘Maila’…Like, "Abay mailay, dekh kay chal…', similarly ‘Abay Choorhay, Jahil, andha hai kia…?’ could be used…
Choorha or Maila both denote someone extremely ignorant and without any form or sort of manners…
