nice! your family is spread all over Sindh we would always make an effort to go to sehwan and sachal sermast on the way to our ancestral home… my family comes from Khairpur district…Ranipur town precisely
there is a small village near ranipur like 10 mins drive away. My extended family still lives there, its named after Dada’s grandfather I think!

I normally think that vegetarian people must have a menu issue compared to those who eat ve and non-veg both. Aaj kia pakae must be a big question?

My mayka is very near, its in south delhi and I live in north delhi:D, one single yellow line metro connects both locations passing location of my office. My office is in the middle:D, and if champion gets to know about any non veg food and that she would somehow, then another standard operating procedure of rituals will be performed on me:D. We have two menus, Lunch is kashmiri(that only she cooks) and dinner is mostly punjabi:)

I came to Nagpur at least a dozen time, boarded millitary plane directly to Ghaziabad everytime, never got chance to visit around. Aap log fasal khareedne-Bechane ka kaam karte ho??

No directly market ya local businessmen ko bech dete hain......:)

selling cotton is fun....pura season cotton ke rates fluctuate hote rehte hain..and farmers try to get maximum rate...

yes and after selling next day market reaches another maximum:), in punjab, we also yield cotton, our position is third in cotton production:)

I would love it agar meri pasand ki saari cheezain mere ghar pe he koe ley aaye and i can choose fuzool mai idher udher phirna na parey…
but well online shopping hai iss liye though its not v common in saudi abhi :hinna:

There was a time when women from lower caste used to sell bangles (chooriyan) and clothes by visiting the homes. The arrangement was probably for facilitating Purda Nasheen khwateen.

Also saw Pathan men on cycle chanting’ Kapdo le lo kapdo’.

Do you remember watching this trade in your past or recently?

I confused the location of Humsafar as Khairpur Mirus. It takes around 4 hours drive from Mirpur Khas to Khairpur. One of my cousin’s in-laws used to live in Mirpur Khas and I got a chance to visit the city, when his wife gave birth to her first baby in her Mayka, but I couldn’t go due to Exams. Same happened with the trip for Thar and Umerkot (where my phuppi’s in laws live).. Exams

But you can’t bargain and actually see the things you buy until those reach you in online shopping.

but bargain…who wants to bargain anyways…
I’d rather just get what I like at a good price without having to bargain

I hate bargaining…if I find the price isnt suitable I just leave it and move on…simple.

tabhi men kahoon, humsafar wali location yehan kaisay agaye
its okay, there is always a next time… you can go now!!
btw, Umerkot is where King Akhbar was born right?

My fathers friend resides in Mirpurkhas and he has this beautiful house and 14 kids as well

besides khairpur, I have been to hala,dadu and moro, … hala town is known for their beautiful handmade vases! but who am i telling this all, ofcourse you know this
