Can you please post some images of Chinese/Oriental inspired shalwar kameezes? I am going to purchase some Chinese silk (golden colour cause red is too bright) and want to have a suit sewn when I go to Karachi. I just need some ideas of how to make it.
Help me out.

I don't have any pictures, but my cousin got a (knee-length) dress from chinatown once, it was royal blue and beige, you know with the chinese collar, and she got beige pants stitched to wear with it. Anyway here are some pics, hope it helps.

i saw this girl wearing that with like a plain kapra...I think if you are going to pakistan then u will find much better ideas but let me just draw it anyways :p
Oh my Mehnaz, strange but I got a suit like that not too long ago.I'll try to take pics of it.I'll PM them to you.Its very simple, but very lovely - so I think.
lol ok here it goes, i know its not professional but i hope u get the idea…the red part was like embrodairy with beads n stuff on it, I am sure they will have diff designs and if u think the red is too bright then just get the pants in red n the shirt in black with that design on it…it looked really nice on that girl anyways here it is the gorgeous design by me

mehnaz i did a 2 sec rough sketch for u .. it sucks but i hope u get the idea. the shape of the dress is out of whack ... ahian its a quickie .. so just so u get an idea..

p.s pleats in the back for an awesome fitting.. the sash is just to make the waist look yummy .. n umm the cut in the neckline can be as high n as low as desired

That’s really a great idea that you’ve got there, love the sash at the waist. Neckline is great too. The overall outfit doesn’t take too much away from the chinese theme yet it’s also a bit desi at the same time. Very nice :k:

I've one exactly like this...but in beige/offwhite. Mehnaz, I'll PM you some pictures.
I've tried on normal Chinese style tops like the one in this blue dress and it doesn't suit me. I hope a dress would look better.
