China is our friend and a good friend now, but "thick blood and water" is a little too much to digest. China is friendly with Pakistan because it suits Chinese national interests. the pakistani-chinese alliance is still growing. china always looked to have grandfather status to pakistans nuclear program and that it has achieved.
during the last years earthquake china highlighted its friendship with pakistan to all its people. i was very pleased to see the average chinese people appreciating pakistan on the streets of shanghai

I have been in china for a little while now and can feel the warmth towards Pakistan.

I don't support your view,China is friendly with Pakistan not because it suits Chinese national interests for China have anything and can produce almost any products and we cannot care about India.India cannot compare to China in military and economy. We have good relation with Pakistan because Pakistan is honest friend and we are brotherly. When one country meet difficulty another country will help selflessly.

Somebody ignore the Prince from Lahore. He lost nationalistic feeling and pride way back when he went to the US. As for me, I truly appreciate the time I spent the UN in New York due to my Chinese compatriots. It was always heart warming to see when someone was going wrong, the Chinese or the Pakistani diplomat would be looking for one another to coordinate plans and actions. Never seen interaction like that between any delegations not even the US and the UK.

Wow, my dear Paki fellows relation b/w countries aren't like two human friends. This is what Pt. Nehru thought and the whole country still repents. It is convergence of interests, strategic partnership and economic gain nothing else guys. Trust me on this!
